At the Lennox Street Studios, Ro Cook, renowned for her limited edition hand printed textiles, practices her unconventional twist on the conventional form of both on paper and fabric. In fact, she prints with, and on, an unlikely assortment of material and forms.

Ro makes unique art that can be used, and reused.Her work unites the worlds of Design and Art, a creative marriage not always made in heaven. Her medium is printmaking, primarily screen printing, relief prints and mono prints, on paper and fabric. In her current work she is exploring her memories of working and playing in the outback regions of Australia. Her art explores surface and colour and extends beyond the restrictions of a frame.

Ro’s ROKOCO label has established her work at the forefront of hand printed textiles in Australia.
