Collective emotions through metaphoric symbols
 
My works are based on story about myself especially concentrating on feelings and
I see it is journey of life to find truth of self. As psychologist Carl Jung’s philosophy explains there is more world such as collective unconsciousness beyond our rational thought which we could hardly recognize. My intention of work is to research those collective emotions through paintings.
There are symbolic objects that I use for my painting such as fish, tree, mountain, wings etc. And they contain metaphoric meanings to make my own story and I express my- self though those objects and colors.
However when it conveys meaning of painting to viewer, I like those symbols to become some other clue to
make their story.
